Seed Collection

Natural Area Management & Services are fully licensed by the Department of Environment & Conservation to undertake seed collection on various Crown land and private property. Seed collecting personnel are trained and experienced in identification of native flora and possess knowledge that can only be gained though experience, on optimal time for seed collecting,seed processing and storage methodologies for native species.

In addition to the collection service we also offer viability testing and a storage, packaging and labelling service.

The latest processing equipment, temperature controlled storage facilities and software management processes are in place.

We have knowledge and understanding of both collection and germination techniques through the management of our own nursery and as a result are well placed to advise on all aspects of endemic seed collection and propagation.
