Point Walter
Natural Area Management & Services have been awarded the Point Walter Restoration Project by the City of Melville. Point Walter is a popular recreational node along the Melville foreshore, with the iconic Point Walter sand spit the area is known for kite-surfing, wind-surfing, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, boating and picnicking. Continual erosion of the beach has impacted the amenity of the area with large tree roots being undercut and the functionality of the infrastructure being threatened. The project is aimed at increasing the local amenity through improved access and erosion control. Gabion Cages
NAMS have been involved with the construction and installation of Gabion cages for a variety of applications over the last six months. We recently completed a gabion cage wall for the Trinity @ Alkimos sub-development where the wall provides an aesthetic and functional purpose for the within the Public Open Space. The team are currently involved with the installation of gabion cages along the upper reaches of the Swan River as part of foreshore restoration works in the area.
